  • Is there an incidentals deposit that's required?
    Deposits are required for PRIVATE events that include ‘set-ups’ and utilize our items such as pillows, tables, teepee, dishware, rugs, bounce house, bubble machine, photobooth props, etc. These bookings will require a $100 REFUNDABLE Deposit IF you are hosting a private event at our venue.
  • What is your cancellation policy?
    Booking payments are NON-REFUNDABLE (but can be transferrable upon approval). They are used to guarantee our crew, photographers and handlers’ availability for the date you book your event. As soon as your booking is confirmed, we begin to work hard & put time in to produce your party, photoshoot or event. Pre-production is important with our kind of work so please be sure you are ready to commit when booking. That being said, we understand that things come up!! Sometimes it snows, the birthday girl comes down with the flu, sometimes things happen that are out of our control! We get it! If you give us at least 48 hours notice, we can reschedule!
  • How far in advance can I book?
    You can book your event with us as much as one year in advance. We recommend booking no less than 4 weeks in advance but sometimes you can get lucky with a last minute opening so feel free to reach out to us anytime to inquire. Mini photo sessions and weekend party slots book fast, so don't delay!
  • Is there a weight limit for riding?
    YES- Dewdrop, our miniature unicorn can only carry riders 40lbs or less. This is for the safety of the child as well as the animal. Others may snuggle, pet, brush, braid and even take the unicorn for a walk (which builds major confidence for kids and makes for some precious photos opps!) Daydream, our baby unicorn cannot carry any riders at this point as her bones and joints are still developing, but we'd welcome you to interact and bond with her in other ways, as mentioned above. Cloud, our full size unicorn can carry riders up to 220lbs. Our unicorn experience rides are by lead-line only, unless otherwise previously approved.
  • Can the unicorn appearance be a SURPRISE?
    Yes! We love to make these experiences and magical and memorable as possible, but please be sure to make this request in advance so we can do our best to accommodate.
  • What do I wear?
    Everyone should always wear CLOSED TOE SHOES! Our unicorns are are very sweet, but we want to use common sense and exercise caution around these heavy hooves. Since coming into contact with our live unicorns is "at your own risk," we strongly encourage close toes shoes to protect you and your children's feet. Neutral colors, such as white, beige, pastels, sage green and lavender all work beautifully for shoes and clothing. Try to avoid bold patterns, dots and logos if possible. Parents and guardians--even if you do not plan to be in the photos, you may want to dress in some nice neutral colors too, just in case! Sometimes children feel more comfortable around a live unicorn when their loved one is nearby, so it's nice to be prepared. It can often help those little smiles really light up!
  • What if my child gets scared?
    Sometimes children get scared of animals. It's totally normal and we're used to it. Up close and personal, our unicorns can feel overwhelming and big, especially for a little kid, so we understand that this can be a natural reaction for some of our new little friends. Sometimes a child just may be a bit unsure and hesitant. We do our best to build confidence and make sure the kids feel no pressure. We just want them to have fun doing whatever feels comfortable for them so that this is a positive and memorable experience for all.
  • How do I reserve a date and time for my experience?
    We will post available sessions on our website and social media, so be sure to stay connected. If you're requesting a private event, please contact us directly for a custom booking link. A 50% deposit is required to reserve your booking, with the remaining balance due at least 7 days prior to your reservation.
  • Do I have to fill out a liability waiver?
    Yes! Everyone must sign a liability waiver. Children under 18 must have a parent or guardian sign one on their behalf.
  • Why do I have to pay in full BEFORE my unicorn experience?
    A lot of work goes into the preparation of these special experiences from the moment you book. We spend many hours over several days prior to any unicorn party, photoshoot or picnic planning, washing, drying, braiding and glittering....collecting, organizing and preparing decor, goodie bags, etc. We reserve the day/time for you, often turning down other potential bookings and we focus on making our confirmed bookings the best they can be. A lot of time and effort goes into our events before they happen. When a client cancels last minute we can't get that time back for ourselves or our animals, we can't pay our crew for the prep they already did and it's a lot of work lost for our small business.   • Can I ride a Unicorn?
    YES! After signing a waiver of liability, we do have unicorns available to sit on for photos and even ride but we do have so limitations to ensure the most comfortable, safe and enjoyable experience for both rider and the horse.
  • Can a Unicorn come to my house?
    Yes! Please contact us to make an off-site private event request. You must be able to provide a safe place for us to park our truck and trailer within close distance of your home. No loose dogs, stairs or steep hills. Reach out with any questions and we'll do our best to work with you!
